BSE and NSE flagged Diamond Power Infra for not meeting the 25% minimum public shareholding rule under SEBI Regulation 38 for the quarter ended June 2026, fining the company 4.55 lakh rupees each. The company fixed this by completing a Qualified Institutions Placement in late July 2026, allotting 7.11 crore equity shares to institutional buyers. Public shareholding rose from 15.98% to 25.97%, and promoter holding dropped from 84.02% to 74.03%, bringing the company into compliance.
Penalty is minor at 9.10 lakh rupees total. Compliance issue resolved through QIP, removing overhang. Higher public float may improve liquidity.
