Diamond Power raises Rs 1,614 cr via QIP at Rs 227 per share

Diamond Power Infrastructure has allotted 7.11 crore equity shares to qualified institutional buyers at Rs 227 each, raising about Rs 1,614 crore. The price includes a Rs 226 premium over face value and a 4.99 percent discount to the floor price. The QIP ran from July 23 to July 28, 2026. Allottees include marquee names like SmallCap World Fund, Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio, VQ Fastercap Fund, and several mutual fund houses such as Motilal Oswal, HDFC, Mirae Asset, Tata, and HSBC. Paid-up equity capital rose to about Rs 59.81 crore from Rs 52.70 crore.
