Profit before exceptional items dropped to Rs 84 crore (9M) from Rs 157 crore, showing clear margin compression. The hit came from exceptional items of Rs 48.6 crore in 9M, mainly Rs 25.4 crore impact from new Labour Codes and Rs 23.3 crore demerger expenses. Board also approved ESOS 2026 covering 49.65 lakh options or 3.33 percent of paid-up capital. Standalone Q3 loss was Rs 8.1 crore versus Rs 39 crore profit last year.
Sharp profit fall and margin compression on Labour Code costs and demerger expenses; ESOS 2026 may cause future dilution of about 3.33 percent.
