On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts less than its Media peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
On 18 September 2025, the board approved cancelling 436.27 million 6% non-cumulative, non-convertible redeemable preference shares of Rs 1 each. Of the Rs 436.27 crore paid-up value, Rs 173.40 crore will be set off against inter-corporate deposits and Rs 262.86 crore will be reduced. Approvals are pending. The 117.71 million equity shares and authorised capital will not change.
No cash payout or change in equity share count. It removes a major preference liability and may reduce future costs, subject to approvals.
