Disa India reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 1,017.3 million for Q1 FY26, up about 8% from Rs 940.3 million in Q1 FY25. However, standalone profit after tax fell to Rs 131.5 million from Rs 148.7 million, a decline of roughly 12% year-on-year. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 1,019.7 million while consolidated PAT dropped to Rs 130.4 million from Rs 151.9 million. The operating profit margin compressed, with PBT falling to Rs 176.5 million from Rs 201.1 million, as cost of materials and other expenses rose faster than revenue. Order backlog stood at Rs 2,690 million as of June 30, 2025, providing some near-term visibility. The auditor (S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report.
Mixed quarter for shareholders — topline growth was healthy but bottomline contracted due to margin pressure, which may weigh on the stock in the short term; however, a Rs 2,690 million order backlog supports future revenue and provides some comfort.
