Dishman Carbogen Amcis reported FY26 consolidated net profit of Rs 97.45 Crores, a significant jump from Rs 3.24 Crores in FY25, driven by strong performance in the CDMO business. However, standalone operations posted a net loss of Rs 38.40 Crores due to lower income and high finance costs. The Board approved raising External Commercial Borrowing up to CHF 200 million (approx Rs 2,452 Crores) from promoter group entity Aamanya AG to refinance existing debt at lower interest rates. Borrowing limits are also being increased from Rs 1,700 Crores to Rs 4,000 Crores, subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditors T R Chadha & Co. LLP were reappointed for a second 5-year term. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion but drew attention to a standalone financial covenant breach for certain debentures where waivers have been requested.
The massive jump in consolidated PAT signals strong subsidiary performance, though standalone losses highlight structural issues. The large ECB from promoter group increases related party exposure but may reduce interest costs. Covenant deviations at standalone level require continued monitoring despite waivers obtained.
