HFCL Limited's Board, at its May 22, 2025 meeting, approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations fell to Rs. 3,795.22 Crore in FY25 from Rs. 4,074.59 Crore in FY24, while standalone profit after tax dropped to Rs. 194.75 Crore from Rs. 309.66 Crore. Q4 FY25 standalone results swung to a loss of Rs. 72.59 Crore versus a profit of Rs. 115.44 Crore in Q4 FY24. The Board recommended a dividend of 10%, i.e., Re. 0.10 per equity share on the Re. 1 face value, for FY 2024-25, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. Additionally, Mr. Bhunvesh Sachdeva was appointed as Senior Vice President – International Sales, and Mr. Baldev Singh Kashtwal was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY 2025-26 to 2029-30).
The dividend is modest at Re. 0.10 per share and represents a very small yield, offering little income support to shareholders. The sharp year-on-year decline in profits and a quarterly loss may weigh on near-term investor sentiment, though the dividend declaration signals continued returns despite weaker earnings.
