Dollar Industries reported Q4 FY26 operating revenue of INR622 crores, up 13.2% YoY, with full-year revenue of INR1,881 crores (+10%). Volume grew 12% YoY in Q4. Gross margin compressed 169 basis points YoY to 28.1% in Q4 due to a shift toward economy products (now 47% of Q4 revenue) and elevated cotton prices. Management took a 4-6% price hike in Q1 FY27 (3-4% in April, another 2-3% from June) after two years without increases, stating cotton prices are now stabilizing and no further hikes are needed. The company generated INR139 crores in operating cash flows, reduced inventory days from 130 to 100, and aims to cut its INR264 crore debt to zero by FY28. Project Lakshya Phase 2 is now in pilot run, focused on deepening presence in existing markets. Quick commerce channel surged 437% YoY and now contributes 2.5% of revenue.
The price hike taken should help restore gross margins in FY27, and management guided for better EBITDA margin than FY26's 10.82% along with double-digit revenue growth. Shareholders can also expect gradual debt reduction and improved cash generation.
