Dr. Lal PathLabs reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) un-audited financial results, approved by the Board on July 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 11% YoY to roughly INR 640 crore, while net profit grew about 13% YoY to around INR 129 crore. Basic EPS stood at INR 15.51 versus INR 13.76 in the year-ago quarter. The Board also declared an interim dividend of INR 6 per equity share (60% on the INR 10 face value) for FY26, with the record date set for August 6, 2025. The previous-year (Q1 FY25) figures have been restated to reflect the voluntary liquidation of subsidiary Suburban Diagnostics India Pvt Ltd (SDIPL), whose business was absorbed by the parent. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued a clean limited review report, though it included an emphasis-of-matter paragraph on the NCLT-sanctioned scheme of amalgamation involving Paliwal Diagnostics. The Board also amended the company's Code of Practices for Fair Disclosure of Unpublished Price Sensitive Information.
Solid double-digit revenue and profit growth alongside a consistent interim dividend should be viewed positively by shareholders. The clean audit opinion, with only an emphasis-of-matter disclosure on an already-disclosed amalgamation, removes no new concerns.
