Dr. Reddy's Q1FY27 consolidated revenue fell 5.6% YoY to Rs 80,705 Mn, mainly on lower Lenalidomide sales in North America. PAT attributable to equity holders dropped 69% YoY to Rs 4,435 Mn. EBITDA margin fell to 12.5% from 26.7% YoY. Results include a Rs 2,397 Mn exceptional provision for a semaglutide API issue, which hit gross profit, EBITDA and PBT margins by about 3%. Gross margin slipped to 46.5% from 56.9% YoY. Board also confirmed Deloitte as US audit firm and appointed Dr. Sridevi Khambhampaty as Global Head of Biologics.
Weak quarter with sharp margin pressure from Lenalidomide decline and exceptional semaglutide provision. Ex-Lenalidomide base business still posted healthy double-digit growth.
