Dredging Corporation reported Q3 standalone loss of about Rs 24.63 crore against a profit of Rs 16.06 crore a year ago. Nine-month loss widened to Rs 82.15 crore from Rs 48.85 crore. Q3 revenue fell around 15 percent to Rs 276.08 crore. Board approved doubling authorised share capital to Rs 60 crore and allotted non-convertible debentures of Rs 111.48 crore to Cochin Shipyard. Debt to equity ratio rose to 0.94 from 0.76. Statutory auditors issued an unqualified opinion.
Widening losses and rising leverage are negative. NCD allotment to parent signals support but adds debt; equity dilution risk pending shareholder approval.
