Dutron Polymers reported Q2 FY26 revenue of ₹1,944 lakhs, nearly flat compared to ₹1,954.29 lakhs in Q2 FY25, with profit after tax of ₹33.87 lakhs versus ₹33.45 lakhs. For the half year (H1 FY26), revenue fell sharply by about 13% to ₹4,638.11 lakhs from ₹5,330.31 lakhs a year ago, and profit after tax dropped roughly 34% to ₹120.91 lakhs from ₹183.53 lakhs. Operating margin for the half year compressed to 5.12% from 6.32% last year, reflecting higher raw material and other costs. Cash flow from operations for H1 was ₹83.50 lakhs, significantly lower than ₹281.48 lakhs in H1 FY25, though the balance sheet remains healthy with a current ratio of 6.04 and debt-equity of 0.13. The board also noted a BSE fine for late submission of voting results and disclosed related party transactions for the half year as required.
The half-year numbers show clear weakness — falling revenue, shrinking margins, and a sharp drop in operating cash flow, which could weigh on the stock despite a stable quarterly profit. The strong liquidity and low debt provide some comfort, but the YoY decline in H1 performance is a concern for investors.
