Dwarikesh Sugar Industries reported audited results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. For the full year FY25, revenue from operations fell about 20.5% to ₹1,35,888 lakhs from ₹1,70,957 lakhs in FY24, while net profit dropped sharply to ₹2,334 lakhs from ₹8,352 lakhs (down ~72%). In the standalone Q4 quarter, however, revenue rose about 20.8% YoY to ₹45,885 lakhs and net profit jumped to ₹4,633 lakhs from ₹2,289 lakhs. The board has recommended a 50% dividend (₹0.50 per share) subject to shareholder approval, and the 31st AGM is scheduled for August 19, 2025. Statutory auditor M/s Mittal Gupta & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, and operating cash flow for the year was positive at ₹6,068 lakhs.
Full-year performance was weak with a steep drop in profit due to lower sugar and distillery realisations, but the strong Q4 recovery and clean audit, along with a dividend declaration, may provide some support. Investors should weigh the annual profit decline against the quarterly turnaround before taking a view on the stock.
