On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts less than its Sugar peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Dwarikesh Sugar shared its Q2 and H1 FY27 investor presentation. Q2 revenue rose to Rs 262.1 crore from Rs 248.2 crore, while the net loss narrowed to Rs 13.1 crore from Rs 32.6 crore. H1 revenue was Rs 622.2 crore and net loss Rs 38.9 crore. No crushing, lower ethanol output and high-cost inventory hurt results. Crushing is scheduled to start in November.
Higher sugar prices and the November crushing restart may offer relief, but weak ethanol sales and continued losses keep the near-term outlook uncertain.
