E & E Enterprises Ltd (formerly The Swastik Safe Deposit and Investments Limited, renamed effective October 16, 2025) announced its Q3 FY26 unaudited results. The company recently surrendered its NBFC license to the RBI, which was cancelled on July 24, 2025, and has now pivoted its principal business to hotels, restaurants, and real estate development. Total income for 9M FY26 stood at Rs 64.43 lakhs, down from Rs 94.62 lakhs in the prior year period, but net profit surged to Rs 43.80 lakhs versus Rs 11.82 lakhs earlier, largely on the back of legacy NBFC operations. Standalone Q3 results for the new business showed income of only Rs 4.04 lakhs against expenses of Rs 10.97 lakhs, resulting in a net loss of Rs 5.03 lakhs. The auditors (K K Birla & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with an Emphasis of Matter on the NBFC exit and the change in financial reporting format.
The stock is in a transition phase - the profitable NBFC legacy has been wound down and the new hospitality/real estate business is yet to scale, leading to a Q3 loss. Shareholders should watch for traction in the new business over the coming quarters, as current revenue base is very thin.
