Walchandnagar Industries said NCLT Guwahati admitted CIRP against its customer JUD Cements on Oct 12, 2026. JUD Cements had ordered customized cement plant machinery worth Rs. 1,657 lakhs, which remains undelivered and in the company's possession. The company had already impaired Rs. 1,565 lakhs in prior years, leaving book value at just Rs. 92 lakhs. Management plans to sell or salvage the machinery and says no material incremental impact on current quarter profitability.
Minimal financial impact as WIP was already impaired to Rs. 92 lakhs. Machinery in company's possession limits further downside risk.
