Earkart Ltd (formerly Earkart Pvt Ltd) submitted its first quarterly results after its recent IPO for the half-year ended 30 September 2025. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,228.57 lakh, down about 5.4% from Rs 2,354.98 lakh in H1 FY25. Profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 185.33 lakh from Rs 330.53 lakh, a drop of roughly 44%, while EPS came in at Rs 1.35 versus Rs 1.58 earlier. The company completed its IPO during the period (issued 33.15 lakh shares at Rs 135), bringing in around Rs 4,429 lakh, which pushed cash on hand to Rs 4,490.88 lakh and reserves to Rs 5,230.75 lakh. Limited review was issued by the new auditor Gianender & Associates (replacing M/s Timsi & Associates) with a clean, unmodified report. The Board also authorized an ESOP Scheme 2025 and appointed N Kothari & Associates as Secretarial Auditor.
Short-term share performance may be weighed down by the steep YoY drop in revenue and profit, but the balance sheet is now significantly stronger post-IPO with ample cash, giving the company flexibility to invest in growth. Investors should watch whether the margin compression is a temporary blip or a structural concern.
