Earkart Limited's board approved unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025. Revenue from operations declined about 5% YoY to Rs 2,228.57 lakh (from Rs 2,354.98 lakh), while profit after tax fell sharply by around 44% to Rs 185.33 lakh (from Rs 330.53 lakh), with EPS at Rs 1.35 vs Rs 1.58. The company also received its first post-IPO financial filing, having completed its Initial Public Offering during the period by allotting 33.15 lakh equity shares at Rs 135 each, which pumped Rs 4,097.65 lakh into securities premium and lifted cash and bank balances dramatically from Rs 36.64 lakh to Rs 4,490.88 lakh. The board authorized an ESOP scheme (Earkart ESOP Scheme 2025) and appointed N Kothari & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY 2025-26. A limited review report was issued by Gianender & Associates, a change from the previous statutory auditor M/s Timsi & Associates.
Operational performance weakened with a notable drop in profits and revenue, which may concern investors, but the balance sheet is now much stronger post-IPO with substantial cash reserves to fund growth. The change in auditor and new ESOP scheme are governance-related events worth tracking.
