Eighty Jewellers Ltd's board, at its May 28, 2025 meeting, approved the audited financial results for H2 FY25 and full year ended March 31, 2025. Revenue from operations rose about 20.6% YoY to ₹10,967.93 lakhs (from ~₹9,097.55 lakhs in FY24), while profit after tax grew around 27% to ₹185.25 lakhs (from ₹145.75 lakhs), lifting basic EPS to ₹1.82 from ₹1.43. Profit before tax improved to ₹254.38 lakhs versus ₹190.23 lakhs, and operating cash flow strengthened to ₹266.01 lakhs from ₹160.33 lakhs. The statutory auditor (Singhal & Sewak) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Additionally, the board appointed M/s. Kala Parakh & Farishta as Internal Auditors for FY26 and CS Rishika Verma as whole-time Company Secretary & Compliance Officer. The balance sheet shows a notable rise in inventory (₹5,082 lakhs vs ₹3,156 lakhs) and a sharp jump in short-term borrowings to ₹2,697 lakhs from ₹677 lakhs.
Strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profit, backed by a clean audit report, is positive for shareholder confidence. However, the steep rise in short-term borrowings and inventory buildup suggests aggressive working capital expansion, which investors should monitor for margin and leverage implications.
