Elcid Investments, a non-banking investment company, reported its Q3 FY26 results. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to Rs. 4,376.82 lakhs (Q3 FY25: Rs. 3,650.99 lakhs), while standalone profit fell to Rs. 2,696.75 lakhs from Rs. 3,678.59 lakhs, with basic EPS of Rs. 1,348.37 vs Rs. 1,839.29 last year. On a consolidated basis (including two wholly-owned subsidiaries), revenue grew sharply to Rs. 6,173.98 lakhs (~40% YoY) and consolidated PAT jumped to Rs. 4,737.84 lakhs (~49% YoY), with EPS of Rs. 2,368.92. For the nine-month period, however, both standalone and consolidated revenue and profit declined compared to the prior year, reflecting the lumpy nature of dividend and fair value gains. Total investments stood at Rs. 8,657 crore standalone and Rs. 12,480 crore consolidated. The auditor V.K. Beswal & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report.
Q3 shows strong YoY growth in consolidated revenue and profit, supported by healthy dividend income and net fair value gains, which could lift near-term sentiment. However, the weaker 9M trend and absence of debt indicate this is essentially a portfolio-driven result — stock movement will hinge on the value of its large investment book rather than operating performance.
