Elecon Engineering posted Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue of Rs 521 crores, up 6.1% YoY on an adjusted basis. EBITDA rose 3.9% to Rs 109 crores but EBITDA margin slipped to 21.0% from 22.6%. PAT stood at Rs 70 crores. Gear division revenue grew 16.3% to Rs 416 crores with EBIT up 14.7%, while MHE division dipped 2.9% to Rs 105 crores. Order intake rose to Rs 755 crores with open order book at Rs 1,518 crores. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion.
Strong order book provides revenue visibility, but margin compression of about 160 bps and weak MHE performance may temper sentiment in the near term.
