EMIL reported Q3 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 19,396.5 mn, up 7.5% YoY. Nine month revenue grew 4% to Rs 52,700 mn. However, Q3 PAT fell 11.5% to Rs 296.5 mn and 9M PAT nearly halved to Rs 674.4 mn versus Rs 1,338.4 mn last year. Margins compressed sharply with 9M PBT at Rs 899.7 mn versus Rs 1,784.5 mn. Exceptional items include a one time Rs 42.6 mn hit from new labour codes. Auditor issued unmodified limited review report.
Sharp profit fall and margin compression despite revenue growth signals rising cost pressure. Weakness may weigh on stock sentiment.
