Q2 FY26 standalone revenue rose 19% YoY to Rs 1,590.97 crore. But profit before tax (ex-one-offs) crashed to Rs 6.44 crore from Rs 31.01 crore, and net profit fell to Rs 16.14 crore from Rs 25.77 crore. H1 net profit was Rs 37.76 crore, down from Rs 100.34 crore. Finance costs jumped 55% and staff costs rose 39%, hitting margins. Exceptional items netted Rs 15.19 crore, including fire insurance receipt and gain from selling four IQ retail stores. Auditor review was unqualified.
Sales growth is positive but a sharp earnings drop and rising costs raise concerns about margin recovery; one-off gains masked underlying weakness.
