Elgi Rubber Company's board approved filing a voluntary liquidation or bankruptcy application for Rubber Resources B.V., a wholly owned step-down subsidiary in the Netherlands. The subsidiary contributed 26.51 percent of revenue (about INR 1017.84 million) but had a negative net worth of INR 720.84 million as of March 2025. Shareholders had already approved the disposal through a postal ballot in July 2025. The process is expected to complete by 31 December 2026, subject to Dutch regulatory approvals. The company called it the best route for an orderly exit.
