Emami's Board, at its May 16, 2025 meeting, approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY25, with auditors (S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP) issuing an unmodified opinion. Consolidated FY25 revenue from operations stood at Rs. 3,80,919 lacs (up ~6.5% from Rs. 3,57,809 lacs in FY24), with PAT of Rs. 80,274 lacs (up ~10.9% from Rs. 72,414 lacs) and EPS of Rs. 18.48. The Board declared a special 3rd interim dividend of Rs. 2 per share (200%) to mark Emami's 50th anniversary, taking total FY25 dividends to Rs. 10 per share (1st and 2nd interim dividends of Rs. 4 each were already paid). Record date is May 22, 2025. Operating cash flow rose to Rs. 89,588 lacs, and cash & equivalents nearly doubled to Rs. 10,463 lacs. Additionally, the 42nd AGM is set for August 29, 2025, and new Secretarial Auditor, Internal Auditor, and Compliance Officer have been appointed.
Positive for shareholders – strong revenue and profit growth, a robust total dividend payout of Rs. 10 per share, and a clean audit opinion signal financial health. The stock may see short-term support from the special dividend, while the acquisition of the remaining stake in Helios Lifestyle strengthens the wholly-owned subsidiary structure.
