Emami's Board declared 1st interim dividend of Rs 4 per share (400%) for FY26 with record date November 14 and payment by December 9. Q2 consolidated revenue fell 10.3% YoY to Rs 798.5 crore, PAT dropped 29.7% to Rs 148.4 crore. H1 revenue declined 5.2% to Rs 1,702.6 crore and PAT fell 13.5% to Rs 312.6 crore. EBITDA margins compressed sharply from about 30% to 25% in Q2. Standalone Q2 revenue fell 14.7% YoY to Rs 604.5 crore.
Mixed signals - healthy dividend payout but weak Q2 earnings with sharp margin compression and declining revenues. Stock may react negatively to the results.
