On the reaction day the stock moved 2.2 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.0 pts more than its Personal Care peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
For the September quarter, consolidated revenue fell 10.3% year on year to Rs798.51 crore, while profit after tax fell 29.7% to Rs148.35 crore. The margin before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation declined to 25.0% from 30.6%. In the half year, revenue fell 5.2%, profit after tax fell 13.5%, and operating cash flow was Rs235.49 crore. Emami declared a 400% interim dividend of Rs4 per share, payable by December 9, 2025.
Lower sales, profit and margins may pressure the stock, though the large interim dividend may support investor sentiment.
