Emerald Finance Ltd, a Chandigarh-based NBFC offering Earned Wage Access (EWA) and MSME/retail lending products, announced its unaudited Q1 FY26 results. Standalone net profit surged 138% YoY to ₹2.63 Cr from ₹1.10 Cr, while total income grew 89% YoY to ₹4.74 Cr. EBITDA rose 105% YoY to ₹3.98 Cr. On a consolidated basis, net profit grew 86% YoY to ₹3.19 Cr with total income up 53% YoY to ₹6.74 Cr. Management highlighted new corporate onboarding to its EWA platform, plans to expand the corporate client base to 250 by FY26-end, and a forthcoming mobile app launch.
Sharp growth in profits and revenue suggests strong momentum in the company's core lending and EWA business, which is likely to be viewed positively by retail investors. However, results are unaudited and the company remains a small-cap NBFC, so scale and sustainability of this growth will be key things to watch.
