Nagarjuna Agri Tech Ltd has reported audited financial results for FY25 with revenue from operations collapsing to just Rs 0.61 lakh versus Rs 246.51 lakh in FY24. Total income stood at Rs 39.67 lakh, supported mostly by Rs 39.06 lakh of other income. The company booked a loss before exceptional items of Rs 8.40 lakh, but reported a small positive total comprehensive income of Rs 2.99 lakh after exceptional items of Rs 62.67 lakh (mainly profit on sale of assets) and a tax expense of Rs 8 lakh. The auditor has flagged a material uncertainty about the company's ability to continue as a going concern, noting that the company has sold off a major portion of its land. Other equity is deeply negative at Rs (262.56) lakh and cash balance has dropped to a near-zero Rs 0.08 lakh from Rs 147.55 lakh a year ago.
This is a deeply concerning filing for shareholders. Revenue has virtually disappeared, the business has sold most of its land, reserves are negative, and auditors have explicitly raised going-concern doubts. The promoter open offer approved by SEBI adds to uncertainty about the future direction of the company. Stock price risk is high and existing shareholders may see very limited value recovery.
