Endurance Technologies Limited has received a favourable ruling in a tax dispute. The Deputy Commissioner (CT), Tamil Nadu had earlier issued a Demand Order for Rs. 98.28 lakh against the company for FY 2020-21, relating to Credit Notes issued for sales return transactions and interest on reversal of input tax credit. The company had challenged this order by filing an appeal with the Joint Commissioner (ST), Appeals, Chennai. On May 14, 2026, the appellate authority allowed the company's appeal and set aside the original Demand Order entirely. This resolves a significant tax liability that had been pending since 2025.
This is a positive development for shareholders as the company has successfully overturned a Rs. 98.28 lakh tax demand. It removes uncertainty around a potential tax outflow and demonstrates the company's willingness to contest unfavourable orders.
