Enviro Infra Engineers reported its Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs. 23,241.06 lakhs from Rs. 20,518.02 lakhs a year ago (~13% growth), and standalone profit after tax increased to Rs. 4,077.69 lakhs from Rs. 3,307.70 lakhs (~23% growth). Consolidated PAT grew more sharply to Rs. 4,248.05 lakhs from Rs. 2,996.81 lakhs (~42% growth) on broadly flat revenue of Rs. 20,920.02 lakhs. The company disclosed a cyber fraud incident involving fraudulent fund transfers totalling Rs. 495 lakhs up to June 30, 2025 (Rs. 620 lakhs subsequently), of which Rs. 250.23 lakhs was recovered; the loss was charged as an exceptional item. The Chairman & Whole-time Director and Managing Director have voluntarily given up their remuneration until the amount is fully recovered. The auditor flagged the fraud as an Emphasis of Matter. The company also added three new renewable energy subsidiaries during the quarter.
Q1 earnings show solid margin expansion and strong PAT growth at the consolidated level, but the cyber fraud is a serious governance and financial concern. The Rs. 495 lakh exceptional charge and the directors' voluntary pay sacrifice may weigh on investor sentiment in the near term, even though ~50% of the funds have already been recovered and the core business continues to grow.
