EPL Limited received a request from Epsilon Bidco Pte. Ltd. to reclassify itself from the promoter category to the public category under SEBI Regulation 31A. Epsilon Bidco had earlier sold its entire holding of 84,479,781 equity shares (26.37% of paid-up capital) via on-market trades on 1 September 2026 and now holds 0% stake. The Board will consider the reclassification request in its upcoming meeting. With this exit, EPL effectively has no designated promoter.
Company now has no promoter; the 26.37% earlier promoter stake has moved to public float, which may change governance and liquidity.
