Eris Lifesciences reported its Q1 FY26 results with consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 773.00 crore, up about 7.4% from Rs 719.72 crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated net profit rose sharply to Rs 125.10 crore versus Rs 89.55 crore, a jump of nearly 40%, translating to a basic EPS of Rs 8.66 (vs Rs 6.11). On a standalone basis, revenue grew a stronger 26.7% to Rs 578.64 crore and net profit surged to Rs 99.99 crore from Rs 17.04 crore. Operating margin expanded to 27.02% from 24.44%, and debt-to-equity improved to 0.74x from 0.95x. Prior period figures were restated following completion of the Swiss Parenterals purchase price allocation, and the review was conducted by new auditor Walker Chandiok & Co LLP (replacing Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP), with an unmodified opinion.
Strong profit growth and margin expansion are positive for shareholders, though much of the gain reflects the lower base and inclusion of the Eris Bionxt acquisition. The auditor change and restated comparables are procedural items and not concerning on their own.
