Escorts Kubota reported standalone net profit of ₹1,380.95 Cr for FY2026, up 24.4% from ₹1,110.03 Cr in FY2025. Standalone revenue from operations grew 12.6% to ₹11,472.78 Cr from ₹10,186.96 Cr. Consolidated net profit stood at ₹1,366.42 Cr vs ₹1,124.06 Cr (up ~21.6%). The company also completed the sale of its Railway Equipment (RED) Business to Sona Comstar for ₹1,600 Cr, recording a net profit of ₹1,004.37 Cr from the sale (classified under discontinued operations). An exceptional charge of ₹52.46 Cr was recognised for labour code implementation. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹33 per share; total dividend for FY2026 is ₹51 per share (including ₹18 interim already paid). Cost auditors M/s. Ramanath Iyer & Co. were appointed for FY2026-27. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong profit growth driven by core agri-machinery operations and a major one-time gain from the RED business sale. The ₹51 dividend signals confidence. However, the exceptional items inflate underlying earnings; investors should monitor normalised profitability going forward.
