Escorts Kubota reported standalone revenue of Rs 11,472.78 Cr for FY26, up 12.6% from Rs 10,186.96 Cr in FY25. Net profit after tax grew 24.4% to Rs 1,380.95 Cr from Rs 1,110.03 Cr. Q4 standalone revenue was Rs 2,950.65 Cr with net profit of Rs 324.81 Cr. The company recognized an exceptional expense of Rs 52.46 Cr due to new labour code implementation, offset by a Rs 75.99 Cr gain from sale of land and buildings to Sona Comstar. The RED (Railway Equipment Division) business was sold as a going concern for Rs 1,600 Cr, generating a one-time profit of Rs 1,004.37 Cr in discontinued operations. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 33 per share, taking total dividend for FY26 to Rs 51 per share (510%) vs Rs 30 in FY25. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong PAT growth of ~24% year-on-year, healthy dividend increase, and a major one-time gain from the RED business sale position the stock positively, though Q4 revenue was sequentially lower.
