Ester Industries reported Q4 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs 345.1 crore, up 7.2% YoY, with PAT surging 301% to Rs 7.9 crore from Rs 2 crore in Q4 FY25. However, FY26 full-year PAT turned negative at Rs -27.5 crore versus Rs 13.7 crore profit in FY25, a sharp 89% decline. Consolidated FY26 revenue grew 7.2% to Rs 1,392.7 crore driven by Specialty Polymers and rPET segments. EBITDA margin compressed significantly to 7.9% in FY26 from 12.6% in FY25, a decline of 470 basis points. The company secured Rs 165.25 crore via share warrant issue and declared dividend of Rs 0.25 per share. rPET sales volume jumped 258% to 5,325 MT, while Specialty Polymers revenue grew 16% to Rs 179.3 crore.
While Q4 showed strong recovery with margin expansion, the full-year picture is concerning with negative PAT and significant EBITDA margin compression. The company is gaining revenue momentum but faces profitability challenges, likely from raw material costs and geopolitical headwinds affecting the BOPET Film segment through most of FY26.
