Euro Leder Fashion Ltd reported audited results for FY25 showing a sharp decline in business. Net sales fell to Rs. 1,840.48 lakhs from Rs. 3,328.44 lakhs in FY24, a drop of roughly 45%, while total income fell to Rs. 2,024.73 lakhs. Despite lower revenue, the company remained profitable with a net profit of Rs. 19.44 lakhs (FY24: Rs. 30.69 lakhs) and basic EPS of Rs. 0.50 (FY24: Rs. 0.78). Operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs. 354.03 lakhs versus an outflow of Rs. 304.34 lakhs in FY24, helped by a major reduction in working capital borrowings from Rs. 1,932.46 lakhs to Rs. 1,344.78 lakhs. The auditor (Darpan & Associates) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The Board also accepted the resignation of Whole Time Director Mr. Lakshmanan Ramanathan with effect from 28th May 2025.
Shareholders should note the steep revenue contraction in FY25 even though profitability and cash generation held up, suggesting cost-cutting and debt reduction efforts. The exit of a Whole Time Director is a governance change to watch, though it is the Managing Director who continues to run operations.
