Excel Industries announced its unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025), reviewed by Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP with an unmodified conclusion. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs. 30,947 lakhs, up about 24.9% sequentially from Rs. 24,784 lakhs in Q4 FY25 and roughly 16.8% higher year-on-year versus Rs. 26,491 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax rose sharply to Rs. 3,356 lakhs from Rs. 1,137 lakhs in Q4 FY25, but only modestly versus Rs. 3,148 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Basic and diluted EPS stood at Rs. 26.70, compared to Rs. 25.04 a year ago. Consolidated results were broadly similar, with revenue of Rs. 30,952 lakhs and PAT of Rs. 3,376 lakhs. The company also noted it has simplified segment reporting to a single 'Chemicals' segment following an internal reorganization. A large fair-value gain on equity instruments drove total comprehensive income to Rs. 13,633 lakhs on a consolidated basis.
The results show a strong sequential bounce-back after a weak Q4 FY25 and continued high-teens revenue growth, which is positive for shareholders. However, year-on-year profit growth is muted, indicating margin pressure despite higher revenues. The clean auditor review and no flagged concerns support investor confidence.
