Excel Industries reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 270.19 crore, up marginally from Rs 268.91 crore a year ago. However, standalone profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 18.73 crore from Rs 34.25 crore, a drop of about 45 percent year on year. For H1 FY26, revenue rose to Rs 579.66 crore from Rs 533.82 crore while PAT declined to Rs 52.29 crore from Rs 65.73 crore. Auditor Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified limited review report. Segment reporting was consolidated to a single Chemicals segment.
Sharp drop in quarterly profit despite stable revenue signals margin pressure; negative short-term sentiment likely for the stock.
