Expo Engineering And Projects Ltd (formerly Expo Gas Containers Ltd) approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Net sales dropped sharply to Rs 1,809.68 lacs in Q3 FY26 from Rs 2,531.28 lacs in Q3 FY25, a fall of about 28.5%. Nine-month revenue also declined to Rs 5,094.21 lacs from Rs 7,491.64 lacs, down roughly 32% year-on-year. Despite the top-line weakness, nine-month profit after tax rose to Rs 240.32 lacs from Rs 161.61 lacs, a growth of nearly 49%, aided by lower material and overhead costs. However, Q3 standalone PAT slipped to Rs 51.09 lacs (EPS Rs 0.22) from Rs 66.85 lacs in the year-ago quarter. Statutory auditor K.S. Shah & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report.
Mixed picture for shareholders: shrinking revenues raise concerns about demand, but stronger margins and higher 9M profit show improved cost control. The company recently rebranded from Expo Gas Containers, signalling a broader engineering focus, which may support future growth if top-line stabilises.
