On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts more than its Ferro & Silica Manganese peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Facor Alloys Ltd has received an Arbitral Award dated July 31, 2025 from the Delhi International Arbitration Centre in a dispute with Rajadhiraj Tirupani Vinayak Natraj Pvt. Ltd. The award is largely in Facor's favour, granting it about Rs. 18.87 crore towards conversion charges, Rs. 37.77 lakh towards unpaid invoices, recovery of outstanding electricity charges, and interest at 9% per annum from around October 2022. Against Facor, the opposing party was awarded Rs. 2.17 crore (which can be adjusted against Facor's claim) plus return of certain raw materials and finished goods lying at Facor's premises. Net-net, Facor stands to recover a sizeable sum along with interest.
Positive for shareholders — Facor wins a net claim of roughly Rs. 17 crore plus interest, which can boost receivables and improve cash flows once realised, though collection still depends on the counterparty's ability to pay. The stock may see a modest positive reaction given the confirmation of a favourable award.
