Year on year, Q2 FY27 net profit rose 63 percent to INR 130.8 crore, disbursements rose 28 percent to INR 6,676 crore and loan assets grew 37 percent to INR 22,035 crore. Return on assets was 2.8 percent, return on equity 17 percent and credit cost was 0.6 percent. Gross bad loans were 1.8 percent. Management aims for 20 to 25 percent loan growth, 3 percent return on assets and 18 percent return on equity despite gold-loan yield pressure.
Positive for sentiment as profit and returns rise, but gold-loan competition, yield pressure and higher bad loans may limit near-term gains.
