Federal Bank reported a strong Q4 FY26 with net profit of ₹1,259.10 crore, up 20.93% sequentially, driven by margin expansion, surging fee income, and improved asset quality. Both CASA and NR deposits crossed the ₹1 lakh crore milestone, reaching ₹1,03,390.30 crore and ₹1,02,619.69 crore respectively. NIMs reclaimed pre-rate cut levels at 3.74%, while RoA improved to 1.36% and RoE expanded to 13.69%. Asset quality reached historic lows with GNPA at 1.62% and NNPA at 0.20%. The cost-to-income ratio improved sharply to 47.28%, a sequential reduction of 665 bps, reflecting strong operating leverage. Total business crossed ₹5.78 lakh crore, with the bank also launching a new wealth management platform during the quarter.
Strong quarter with multiple structural milestones (CASA and NR deposits crossing ₹1 lakh crore, NIMs at pre-rate cut levels) and record asset quality positions Federal Bank favourably, signalling robust execution of its strategic roadmap and improved profitability trajectory.
