Fervent Synergies reported a strong turnaround for FY25 with revenue from operations rising to Rs. 3,245.85 lakhs from Rs. 2,430.92 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 33%. The company swung to a net profit of Rs. 295.36 lakhs compared to a net loss of Rs. 1,284.16 lakhs in the previous year. The Foods segment (almond trading) contributed Rs. 212.23 lakhs in profit, while the Finance segment recovered to a Rs. 176.83 lakhs profit from a Rs. 1,316.37 lakhs loss earlier. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. EPS for the year was Rs. 0.68 versus negative Rs. 4.28 last year. During the year, paid-up equity capital increased from Rs. 30 crore to Rs. 43.75 crore through preferential allotment and conversion of warrants. The board also re-appointed internal and secretarial auditors. Separately, the company disclosed related party transactions including a Rs. 4,100 lakh loan to Verve Greens Holding & Realty Pvt Ltd and Rs. 2,579.30 lakh of purchases from Verve Greens Inc.
Positive for shareholders as the company moved from deep losses to profitability with healthy revenue growth, though the Q4 standalone revenue was weak. The large related party loan and purchases are worth monitoring for governance and recovery.
