Fiberweb (India) Limited reported FY2026 net sales of Rs. 8,456.17 lakhs, down 16.4% from Rs. 10,120.44 lakhs in FY2025. Full-year net profit fell to Rs. 1,001.48 lakhs from Rs. 1,500.46 lakhs in the previous year, a decline of about 33%. Q4 was particularly weak with a net loss of Rs. 152.14 lakhs due to severe raw material supply disruptions and logistics issues caused by the US-Iran conflict. The company scaled back its planned expansion from Rs. 165 crore (flushable products) to Rs. 50 crore (felted products using recycled materials), citing changed market conditions. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company appointed a new CFO and internal auditor, and reappointed an independent director.
The significant revenue and profit decline, combined with a scaled-down expansion plan, suggests near-term headwinds for the stock. The clean audit opinion provides some comfort, but investors will watch Q1 FY2027 recovery closely given the Q4 loss and ongoing geopolitical supply challenges.
