Filatex India announced Q1FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results alongside several board decisions taken on July 23, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 1,049.4 crore, marginally down from Rs 1,054.3 crore in Q1FY25, but net profit jumped ~26% to Rs 40.7 crore from Rs 32.3 crore YoY, with EPS rising to Rs 0.92 from Rs 0.73. EBITDA grew ~28% YoY to Rs 77.8 crore, reflecting improving margins. The board approved re-appointments of the Chairman & MD, two other Managing Directors, and two Independent Directors, each for five years, subject to shareholder approval. It also approved adding two new object clauses to the MOA relating to Steam Power Distribution and appointed M/s Siddiqui & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY2025-26 onwards. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong YoY profit and EBITDA growth despite flat revenue signals margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. The MOA amendment to enter the steam power distribution business hints at future diversification, while leadership continuity provides stability.
