Filatex India reported strong Q2FY26 results with revenue from operations of Rs 1,075.93 crores, up 2.56% YoY and 2.53% QoQ. EBITDA surged 94.55% YoY to Rs 88.93 crores, with margin expanding sharply to 8.27% from 4.36% in Q2FY25. Profit after tax jumped 253% YoY to Rs 47.58 crores, translating to an EPS of Rs 1.07 for the quarter. For H1FY26, revenue grew modestly 1.04% YoY to Rs 2,125.33 crores, but PAT nearly doubled to Rs 88.32 crores (up 93% YoY) on the back of EBITDA margin expansion from 5.07% to 7.84%. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Production volumes rose about 5% YoY in Q2 and sales volumes grew 3.35% for the half year.
Strong earnings beat driven mainly by margin expansion rather than top-line growth — positive for shareholder sentiment and demonstrates improving operating efficiency. Watch for sustainability of margins and any signs of further volume-led growth.
