Filatex India reported its Q1FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 1,04,940 lakhs, marginally lower than Rs 1,05,434 lakhs in Q1FY25. However, profitability improved sharply: Profit Before Tax rose ~25% YoY to Rs 5,489 lakhs, and Net Profit after Tax jumped ~26% YoY to Rs 4,073 lakhs (vs Rs 3,229 lakhs). EBITDA expanded to Rs 77.8 Cr from Rs 60.9 Cr YoY, reflecting margin expansion on better pricing and lower input costs. EPS stood at Rs 0.92 vs Rs 0.73. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion. The Board also approved re-appointment of three promoter-family directors (CMD, Vice Chairman & MD, and another MD) for five-year terms each, re-appointment of two independent directors, addition of new object clauses (including Steam Power Distribution), and appointment of a new Secretarial Auditor.
Despite flat top-line, strong bottom-line growth (PAT up ~26% YoY) and EBITDA margin expansion signal improving profitability and operational efficiency, which is positive for shareholders. Continuity in promoter leadership provides stability, while the new Steam Power Distribution object clause suggests potential diversification.
