Vadilal Dairy International reported total revenue of Rs 2,626.26 lakhs for FY26, down 3% from Rs 2,708.68 lakhs in FY25. Despite the revenue decline, the company narrowed its net loss from Rs 88.87 lakhs to Rs 67.91 lakhs. Q4 FY26 was profitable at Rs 213.30 lakhs PAT, a turnaround from Q3 loss of Rs 77.20 lakhs. Cash flow from operations was significantly negative at Rs 317.20 lakhs, down from Rs 22.23 lakhs positive in FY25, driven by higher working capital requirements (trade receivables up Rs 142 lakhs, inventories up Rs 107 lakhs). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company also announced appointment of Mrs. Anagha Raut as Internal Auditor for FY27.
The full-year loss and negative operating cash flow are concerning for shareholders, though the narrowing loss and Q4 turnaround are positive signs. The significant cash burn from operations (Rs 317.20 lakhs outflow) could pressure liquidity. Revenue decline indicates seasonal or market headwinds affecting the ice cream business.
