Fine Organic Industries reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) standalone revenue from operations of ₹55,914.62 lakhs, up about 10% from ₹50,832.78 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone net profit was ₹9,284.53 lakhs, down roughly 6% from ₹9,899.93 lakhs a year ago, with basic EPS of ₹30.28 vs ₹32.29. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose about 7% to ₹58,838.40 lakhs and net profit grew around 3% to ₹11,710.45 lakhs (EPS ₹38.19). The results include an exceptional item of ₹698.40 lakhs, which is the full and final insurance settlement for business interruption caused by the January 2024 fire at an adjacent plant. The auditor (B Y & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review but drew specific attention (emphasis of matter) to this insurance claim disclosure. A new subsidiary, Fine Organics Americas LLC, was incorporated during the quarter but has not yet started operations.
Revenue grew on both standalone and consolidated bases, but standalone profit dipped slightly due to higher input and operating costs, suggesting margin pressure. The exceptional insurance gain is a one-off positive that flatters reported profits. Overall a steady but not exceptional quarter for shareholders, with the fire-related insurance recovery finally closed out.
